MINUTES OF ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Also attending were 3 Parish residents and 2 Goathurst residents
1) Election of Chairman
Peter Hall was elected as Chairman.
2) Election of Vice Chairman
James Odgers was elected as Vice Chairman.
3) Apologies for Absence
Mrs. Mary Rousseau (Clerk)
4) Minutes of last AGM
Approved by Council. Signed off by Chairman.
5) Co-option
Council agreed to co-opt Alicia Aras to fill the vacancy for Parish Councillor. She joined the meeting at this point.
6) Other appointments
The following appointments were agreed
Parish Path Liaison Officer – Jamie Bachelor
AONB representative – Peter Hall
Village Hall representative – Carol Pearson
Quantock Cluster representative – Alicia Aras
7) Finance
The Chairman summarised the draft accounts for the year ending 31st March 2010 (attached). Approval of the accounts, agreement of the annual governance statement and appointment of the internal auditor were held over to a future meeting, due to the absence of the Clerk.
8) Chairman’s report
The Chairman read out his report of the previous year (attached).
9) Public Forum
Nothing to report.
10) Date of Next AGM
To be held in early May 2011.
